Winya is an office furniture company with focuses on sustainability, Indigenous engagement and championing diversity and inclusion. Winya is a fast growing SME and the marketing of the business is focused around our core differentiators; we're an Indigenous business and we're invested in sustainability. This means we're looking for a candidate with a good understating and awareness of Indigenous culture and history and knowledge of sustainability practices and the office furniture industry. Winya's marketing team is looking for a young, passionate, creative person with marketing experience to join us.

This role will be working closely with Winya's team and General Manager and will be reporting directly to the Executive Stakeholder, Corporate Social Responsibility & Marketing Manager, Grace (they/them). We’re a tightly knit team and a COVID safe workplace.

This role will be based out of our Sydney City Office right near Wynyard Station with an 80/20 in Office/WFH split.

Responsibilities

  • planning, developing and organising advertising campaigns
  • analysing data from media campaigns, website traffic and SEO activities
  • coordinating the production of campaigns including copywriting, artwork and production
  • planning and organising in-house and trade events
  • Supporting business growth through the execution of marketing objectives
  • Development of print materials, brochures, social media and website updates

Qualifications & experience

  • Experienced Marketing Communications Specialist
  • Awareness & Understanding of Indigenous Cultures and History
  • Preferred individual with interest in sustainability and knowledge of the office furniture industry
  • Good sense of Australian Market Conditions
  • Proficiency in technology: Adobe Suite, Wordpress, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Campaign Monitor, Mail Chimp & Microsoft Office Experience, Semrush
  • Experience Copywriting
  • High proficiency in written English
  • Eye for design
