WHOS provides a range of alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment programs in NSW and Queensland. Information on the range of services provided by WHOS can be found at www.whos.com.au
WHOS Penrith and Windsor Day Programs have positions available for Aboriginal AOD workers.
Key responsibilities for the positions are to provide the WHOS Day Program a range of services to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal clients in a culturally appropriate manner. This includes the use of WHOS assessment and care planning processes and group work materials. Training on the use of these will be provided.
Selection Criteria for both positions:
Being an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person is a genuine occupational requirement for this position under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
SCHADSI Award, based on qualifications and experience. Salary packaging is available.
