SAHSSI is a not-for-profit specialist domestic violence and homelessness service in the Illawarra / Shoalhaven. We support women, men and children who are at risk of domestic violence and homelessness to recover, reduce their trauma, increase their safety, and build their capacity to thrive in the community.
SAHSSI is committed to reconciliation, lived experience and inclusivity. We strongly encourage women from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, women from multi-cultural backgrounds, older women, women with a disability, women who identify as LGBTIQA or women with lived who experience of domestic violence or homelessness to apply for a role with SAHSSI. All roles provide trauma informed, person centred, strengths and evidence-based care.
We will hold an information session on Friday 24 May 2024, and this will form the 1st stage of the interview process followed by formal interviews for select candidates. The information session is by invitation only.
