About the role

  • Full time (part time options considered)
  • Fixed term to June 2027
  • $84,400-$87,146 plus 11% superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading

This role plays a key part in ensuring effective identification, analysis, and use of the most up-to-date population-level data across Our Watch’s work, as well as building internal and external capacity to understand and use this data. It will also support the implementation of processes and systems to evaluate Our Watch’s progress towards its vision of an Australia where women and their children live free from all forms of violence.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in social or political science, public policy, public health, gender studies, evaluation or other area of relevance, or equivalent experience.
  • An understanding of major Australian data sets relating to violence against women (including the Personal Safety Survey and National Community Attitudes towards Violence against Women Survey).
  • Experience working with outcome frameworks,
  • Expertise in collation and analysis of population-level data and tracking progress against identified indicators.
  • Project management skills, and an ability to balance planned work with unexpected and urgent tasks
  • Ability to work, collaborate and consult with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Experience in producing high-quality written materials, including reports and briefs.
