The PNG–Australia Transport Sector Support Program (TSSP) is a critical, high-priority Australian investment that stands to make a major contribution to PNG development outcomes.
Working closely with the Government of PNG (GoPNG), TSSP3 will build on the significant body of achievements, lessons, and relationships from the past 15 years of operation and will continue to contribute to the achievement of the overarching goal of:
‘A more effective, efficient, and inclusive transport system, enabling the economic and social development of PNG.’
The Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, Learning and Adaptation (MERLA) Manager is an important, multi-faceted management role within a large Australian aid program.
The MERLA Manager’s primary responsibility will be overseeing the implementation and continuous refinement of TSSP3’s MERLA Plan. The MERLA Manager will lead a team of locally engaged MERLA Coordinators, providing them with high quality support, guidance, and strategic direction. The MERLA Manager will build awareness, understanding and commitment to MERLA across the Program.
